Why you should use the funding finder

Making improvements to your home such as installing a new heating system or improving insulation could increase your home’s energy efficiency and lower your energy bills. 

Our funding finder is a free online tool and is the best place to start if you’re looking to make home improvements but need help with the upfront costs. It provides information about all the different funding options available and how to find out if you are eligible to apply. 

Examples of funding may include the Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan, which helps people to install clean heating systems or make energy efficiency improvements. 

Using the funding finder

To start, simply go to the funding finder webpage and enter your postcode. If you’re a landlord, enter the postcode of your home address. 

Once you’ve entered your postcode, you’ll see a list of all the funding options that might be available to you in your area. You can read an overview of each funding option and examples of the energy-saving improvements the funding could cover. If you’d like to learn more about a particular improvement, select it to read about what it is and its benefits. 

Once you’ve considered which funding option might be most suitable for you, you can find out if you’re eligible by contacting us. Some of the funding schemes even come with the option to find out if you’re eligible by taking a self-assessment online.
