Event details

Crail Community Partnership is hosting free workshops to provide information and support on reducing energy costs and promoting sustainable homes.

Led by Home Energy Scotland, this session will include presentations and Q&A, focusing on how homes can become energy-efficient and eligible for Scottish Government grants and interest-free loans. The workshops aim to help residents understand available support for reducing energy use and making environmentally friendly upgrades to their homes.

At this event you’ll hear about:

  • different insulation types
  • heat pumps - what they are, how they work, and how to get the most out of them
  • getting away from using mains gas
  • alternative options for heating
  • solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and battery storage
  • Home Energy Scotland support and be signposted to useful tools
  • available funding to help you make energy efficiency improvements and install renewables at home.

This workshop is free to attend.
